Social action on the part of volunteers from New Acropolis Tijuca who visited on this occasion the Rehabilitation Center of the Anna Freud Institute (CREATE). The institute, located in the town of Barra da Tijuca, cares for 200 children with special needs, including Down Syndrome and learning and behavioral difficulties.

This collaboration had as its objective the maintenance and improvement of the new house which houses the rehabilitation center. To this end, volunteers carried out: recovery and cleaning of the main garden; legal guidance to parents, and of course educational and recreational activities with the children.

The activities were very significant both for parents and for children. Activities bringing together volunteers and children, and interaction with nature, were highlights of the day.
