Lecture entitled “What do the heroes do?” at the New Acropolis branch in Honduras. The lecturer, Rafael Orante, pointed out various qualities of heroes such as the force of will, a mission in life, honour, etc.
“Heroes are those who see the problems, look for a solution and take action placing their heart in it.” He discussed various figures who have helped to transform society in recent decades, in different aspects, and that it is they that we call heroes nowadays as for example: Beethoven, Gandhi, Mother Teresa of Calcutta, Jonas Salk, among others.
Participants discussed the different problems that are present in current Honduran society and what they feel they need to do by way of heroes to improve society.
