Volunteers from the New Acropolis center in Mumbai participated in a clean–up drive at the Gateway of India. Equipped with trash-bags, gloves and a fair measure of enthusiasm, the team picked up trash left at the Gateway by unaware tourists.

The activity gained some momentum as bystanders took note of this clean-up activity, realizing the negative impact that littering causes to the environment. Some even joined hands to participate with the volunteers.
