New Acropolis São Leopoldo and the Social Service of Commerce (SESC) of the city, organized the photographic exhibition ‘Sustainability: the environment in photography’ as a result of the 10th SESC Photography Competition.

This photographic exhibition brought together images of Brazilian environmental diversity and the perception of nature amidst an urban and everyday context. Recycling, renewable energy, plantations, roads and buildings were captured by photographers thus showing that the human being is part of the environment and therefore has the power to preserve it.

 Participants were able to appreciate the beauty of the images and exchange life experiences regarding their relationship with nature.
