Lecture: ‘Philosophy and the Science of Happiness’ (Morelia and Mexico City, Mexico)
The lecture ‘Philosophy and the Science of Happiness’ was held in the cities of Morelia and Mexico City. The lecture discussed the factors that determine happiness and also addressed the following questions: What do scientific studies say about happiness? Where does it take root? What is needed to be happy?.
During the lecture, Dr. José María de la Roca, National Director of New Acropolis in Mexico, explained that timeless philosophy has sought how to be happy through a path of self-knowledge, accepting the trials of life, investing oneself in constructive relationships, cultivating positive emotions and looking for inspiration in archetypal models of different civilizations.
