The ‘books that changed our lives’ (Chelyabinsk, Russia)
New Acropolis organized this event in the city of Chelyabinsk for the first time, in the context of the celebration of World Philosophy Day.
This year the event was dedicated to those books that played a special role in our lives, those which helped us to make a right choice, which inspired us to carry out everyday tasks and gave us the opportunity to reflect upon key themes such as love, destiny, friendship, the meaning of life…
Among the most discussed books: The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien, Ankor, The Disciple by Jorge Ángel Livraga Rizzi, The Little Prince and Wind, Sand and Stars by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. Every narrator received lots of applause.
