The ‘Child for the Good’ program offers care to children of low income families (Brasilia, Brazil)
With the collaboration of more than fifty volunteers, New Acropolis Brasilia continues with the program “Child for the Good”, aimed at the children of low income families located close to the Center.
The program offers classes of ballet, music (choir, and diverse instruments including violin, viola, guitar, cello and flute), tutoring, and medical and psychological care.
The activities are intended to increase the self-esteem of the children and put them in contact with art, awakening their sensitivity for beauty and harmony. The program, coordinated by Professor of Music Dilma Ikeoka, volunteer of New Acropolis, counted with the support of the Embassy of Australia, which donated 50 instruments to the project ‘Music for the Good’.
