Chinese philosophy, an experience with all the senses during a “Long Night of Philosophy” (Munich, Germany)
On the occasion of World Philosophy Day, New Acropolis Munich organized a “Long Night of Philosophy” with the theme “Confucius and Lao Tzu: Experience with all the senses the Oriental art of living”.
Both Confucius and Lao Tzu adhered to the humanistic concept that a noble man is one who cultivates moral values, is committed to the Good and plays an active role within society.
Following an introductory lecture on China in the past and in the present, three thematically decorated rooms presented essential elements of the teachings of Confucius and Lao Tzu. In this way, their philosophy became alive and practical for the visitors!
