The ‘Sandro Spagnoli’ Park (Volunteer Philosopher from New Acropolis L’Aquila, Italy, 1957-2009) was inaugurated in Floridia by the mayor and the director of New Acropolis Vincenzo Amato, in the presence of fifty attendees.

This area has become a green lung for the city since its “adoption” in 2008 by New Acropolis volunteers who have beautified it and cared for it, and planted olive trees, pines, etc.
