The New Acropolis school celebrated its 2nd Annual Stoic Week in collaboration with the Modern Stoic movement.

During a 3 day event essential questions about life were discussed from a Stoic perspective: Can we trust our feelings? What is the nature of disappointment and contentment? Which Stoic principles can guide us in our relationships?

Once again it was wonderful to witness the common preoccupations of people from all walks of life and to practice Seneca’s advice “to associate with people who are likely to improve you.”
