Street art against destruction (South Africa)

Volunteering

New Acropolis gathered a group of volunteers to rehabilitate with street art a destroyed wall. The motto was ‘Ubuntu’, a concept pertaining to the African community meaning that we all exist through, and because of one another. No human being is an island, we need one another to flourish, and very often we forget that even our own direct experience of ourselves is rooted in a social or community context.
