Urban Forests: 3rd stage of our ecological project (Córdoba, Argentina)

Ecological Volunteering

In collaboration with biologist Luisina Battiston and The Zoo of Córdoba, New Acropolis volunteers carried out the third stage of the Urban Forests ecological project.

This project began in early 2019 with the collection of seeds from trees native to the central region of Argentina with the aim of bringing people closer to nature, learning to collaborate with it, to know the native species of the area and to discover the cyclical process of germination, growth and development of trees.

During the volunteering day, individual pots were made with recycled materials where the shoots that were already in good condition were transplanted. The trees will be planted definitively in early 2020.
