Ikebana and Haiku Workshop (Bucharest, Romania)

Educational Activities

Ikebana, also called ‘kado’ (flower’s path), is the Japanese art of arranging flowers through which they gain another life, becoming means to express elevate emotions, to reflect something of  creator’s soul. It is an art that restores our harmony and an opportunity to connect with our inner beauty and give it an artistic form.

In the workshop held in New Acropolis Bucharest, we let the flowers speak and accompanied them with some Haiku lyrics:

‘A spring unseen by people –

on the back of the mirror

a flowering plum’.
