The Study Club – inaugurated last May with the history of the Stoics and how they came to be as we know them today – continued in the following months with the analysis of specific books by Seneca, Marcus Aurelius and Epictetus; some of them with the perspective of the current philosopher Pierre Hadot. To date, Epictetus’ Manual for Living and Seneca’s Moral Treatises have been studied, and placed in a current context in order to be able to use these valuable teachings in our daily lives.

These meetings are held weekly and participants are encouraged to express their questions, comments and personal reflections about the readings.
