World Philosophy Day 2021 (Belgrade, Serbia)

World Philosophy Day

To celebrate Philosophy Day 2021, New Acropolis volunteers set up a promotional booth titled “Philosophical Travels in Time – Messages from the Future”, in the city center.

For two days, passersby were able to receive philosophical appointments as well as learn about the program prepared by the Organization in honor of this holiday.

This year’s Philosophy Day was dedicated to “Ideas and people that set the world in motion.” The conferences were open to attendance in person or online.

First, Neoplatonic philosophy and its exponents reminded us that it is necessary to value what unites us as people over what distinguishes us. Then we had the opportunity to get acquainted with the extraordinary paths that wisdom took, sowing the seed of Renaissance along the way.

A conversation about Helena Petrovna Blavatsky and her book “From the Caves and Jungles of Hindostan” was organized in collaboration with New Acropolis Sarajevo and Metaphysica publishing house.

Inspired by these ideas, we concluded the Philosophy Days with a debate on what the future of the world will be like and what our role is in it.
