Cleaning the ancient (Tel Aviv, Israel)

Ecological Volunteering

We visited the Sataf located in the hills of Jerusalem. Sataf is an incredibly popular place for hiking and relaxation. In it there is a spring that irrigates ancient agricultural terraces that are now cultivated with ancient methods of olive, fig and pomegranate trees.
After some inspiring words, we spread out around the area to clean it up. We got to collect many bags of garbage. We conclude the activity with a picnic and a talk sharing the incredible experience and what we learned from it.
