Lecture: “Ethics through the lens of philosophy” at the inauguration of the National Council of Internal Control (Porto Velho, Brazil).
The director of New Acropolis in Porto Velho, Fabricio Neves, gave a lecture on “Ethics through the lens of philosophy” at the opening of the 42nd meeting of the National Council of Internal Control (CONACI), which took place at the Rio Madeira Palace (Political Administrative Center) in the Capital of Rondônia.
“Ethics is how the human being can fulfill himself. Just as the farmer seeks how he can extract all the potential contained in the seed and bring it to the surface, ethics seeks to discover what is the potential that exists within each human being and how to bring it to the surface. It is a study of human fulfillment,” said the director of New Acropolis.
The national event was promoted by the Comptroller Generals of the State of Rondônia and the Municipality of Porto Velho. Representatives of 35 comptrollers’ offices from all regions of the country participate in the Council. The inauguration was broadcast live on Conaci TV.
