The New Acropolis Organization participated in the act for peace in the federal capital, Brasília, in Parque da Cidade, next to the bust of the pacifist Mahatma Gandhi.
The event was organized by the Assis Chateaubriand Foundation and had the participation of several institutions with the aim of encouraging the importance of cultivating a culture of peace, non-violent communication, the exercise of tolerance, harmony, compassion and human fraternity.

“The pursuit of wisdom is a way of seeking peace. Acting for the good is putting into practice universal harmony. The greatest truth we have is that we are one”, commented teacher Denise Montandon, director of Asa Sul’s headquarters, representing the New Acropolis Organization at the ceremony.
