Nová Akropolis organized an online lecture, this time dedicated to a great personality named Albert Schweitzer. Albert Schweitzer was a writers, philosopher, theologian, organist and last but not least,  a doctor. He was an extraordinarily kind and altruistic man, who had ethics in the first place and therefore respect for all life. In his life, he was look for a meaning of life and a place where he could help the world as much as possible. Therefore he decided study medicine so that he could use his skills in practice and treat people in Africa. He and his wife, literally out of nowhere  built an ambulance and hospital in the town of Lambaréne. They had to coping with the climatic conditions and with a difficult diseases and situations. The hospital in this town still operates today.
