The volunteers of Nuova Acropolis, with the patronage of the Municipality of L’Aquila, have promoted a series of initiatives to celebrate World Earth Day.

In the green area of the Park of Sun, a traditional dance, the Braid Dance, and an ecological cleaning of the park have been dedicated to the Earth.

The children were the protagonists of games on nature and the young people of the Volunteer Training Course installed a Hostel of solitary bees, made with recyclable materials to accommodate the precious insects.

There was space also for culture, with a historical/naturalistic visit to discover monumental places and trees.
