Members of New Acropolis Chicago met to watch and discuss the first episode of the BBC series “Century of the Self”, which describes the birth of the PR industry and its work to “control the masses” through manipulation. We learned that our present world is not fated, but the result of ideas and human beings, who worked to create the world they wanted. But is that the world WE want?

The evening ended with a shared dinner and moments of fraternity.
