Celebrating International Women’s Day with Philosophy (Chicago, USA)

Artistic Activities, Promotion of Philosophy

Volunteers from the New Acropolis in Chicago celebrated and commemorated International Women’s Day with a special event.
The volunteers hosted a presentation about 4 feminine archetypes from ancient Greek mythology – Aphrodite, Athena, Demeter and Hera, discussed their symbolism, and showed how these archetypes are being realized in our everyday lives.
Participants learned and experienced through art and discussion what each archetype can teach us and how we can connect to them and grow by applying their values.
