How to make wise choices in life (Veszprém, Hungary)
On the occasion of World Philosophy Day, a debate was organized at the Veszprém Center in New Acropolis and another more playful one on “weaving one’s own destiny”. Participants were able to share their views on how a person’s character and life can be improved, based on the lessons learned from the myth of Er in Plato’s Republic.
This was then put to use in a more playful activity, where each could reflect on what they had learned from a previous life-changing event and then could choose a new “destiny pattern”.
