The competitive space provides us with the most real playground one could ask for – a playground of life, physical but also emotional boundaries are put to the test and we have the opportunity to “play” ourselves and see what is happening there, how we react.

As philosophers, we run to this playground in the hope of bringing the spirit of the athlete into our lives as well. And that’s exactly the connection between sports and philosophy.

Members of our Sport’s School met this week for a “mini Olympic Games” in preparation for the International Games to be held in Brazil in July.
