Philosophy Day (Israel)

World Philosophy Day

As a result of the state of emergency in the country, we changed the original plans for the celebration of Philosophy Day and adapted them into a space for close, embracing and healing human encounters.
In each of the branches we create spaces for practice, experimentation, dialogue and time to be together. Each branch with its special quality.
We practiced yoga and Qigong together to relax and maintain an inner center, experienced healing art-making, held a joint singing and music circle, discussed the value of hope, how it relates to the situation and how we can work with it, and Discussed the role of philosophy in times of crisis.

All who attended took away the satisfying experience of a community that strives to live in the light of human values, even in a time when the surrounding darkness threatens to extinguish the light.
