How to develop Concentration and Intelligence was the theme of the lecture commemorating ‘Intern’s Day’, promoted by the Internship, Additional and Teleworking Management Section (SEGEAT) with the People Management Secretariat (SGP) of the Regional Electoral Court of Rio Grande do Sul. Norte (TRE-RN).

Agricultural engineer Jumara Sasaki, a volunteer at the New Acropolis International Organization, brought the concentration relationship as an essential practice for building each person’s future.
By allowing us to get out of the daily confusion, looking inside ourselves, concentration allows us to find our center, from where we can give the best of ourselves. For this, we can use practical exercises. Intelligence is represented by the ability to discern between what is valid and what is a waste of time.

Jumara Sasaki is the director of the school unit in the Ponta Negra neighborhood. “The intern, as a young person who needs to focus on studies to build a future, in the midst of so much dispersion, faces difficulties in focusing on himself and his essence”, highlights Jumara.

Lorena Costa, 28 years old, one of the New Acropolis volunteers and active for 4 years, highlighted the need to bring the main topics of the lecture to the discussion. “We realize today that the initial world of a career, starting with internships, requires some demands, such as responsibility and commitment. These requirements are intertwined with classical philosophy, which we adapt and connect to practice in life,” she said.

Another volunteer who has worked at the school for 3 years, Kelly Nascimento, 31 years old, recalled her own time as an intern. “I live with interns professionally and I remember my time as an intern too. How many anxieties regarding personal and professional life pass through us, many
doubts, many questions… And even today I see many of them in the eyes of the interns,” she stated.
