The Book Club promotes improvement in the reading of essential books (Belém, Brazil)

Educational Activities

The New Acropolis International Organization promoted the launch of the Book Club in Belém (PA), with the presentation of the program for the first cycle of readings, which will take place over five months.

The initiative is unprecedented in the city and registration is open to the general public, in addition to students enrolled in the Classical Philosophy Course. The objective is to encourage the improvement of the human being through the reading of works essential to the development of the best in each one.

On the occasion, the instructors interacted with the public and commented a little about the works that will be read: On the Brevity of Life (Sêneca); Bhagavad Gita; Gates of Fire (Steven Pressfield); In Search of Wisdom (Sri Ram) and the Voice of the Silence (Helena Petrovna Blavatsky).

Starting on March 4th, the meetings take place once a week, always on Saturdays, from 5 pm to 6.30 pm, until the 29th of July, ending with a philosophical coffee.
