New Acropolis Cuiabá at the launch of Pact for Business Integrity (Brazil)
New Acropolis Cuiabá was present at the launch of the “Brazil Pact for Business Integrity” at FIEMT (Brazil). Vinicius Negrão, a professor and volunteer from New Acropolis, spoke about the value of integrity, bringing reflections on Ethics and Human Values.
Present at the event were the Minister of the Comptroller General of the Union, Vinícius Marques de Carvalho, the President of the Federation of Industries of the State of Mato Grosso (FIEMT), Silvio Rangel, and various public and private authorities, such as the Superintendence of the Federal Police, the Federal Highway Police, the Regional Labor Court, the Brazilian Bar Association, and others.
Good practices of integrity and compliance are essential for advancing the construction of a fairer and more transparent society. However, for them to be lasting and effective, it is necessary for such practices to be deeply rooted in our hearts. Values should serve as guiding ethical principles for our conduct and convictions.
Living Ethics and Human Values, as taught by great thinkers throughout history, is essential for the fulfillment of our own human nature. After all, it is precisely this experience that would allow us to express and bring to life the best in each of us.
