As part of the program to commemorate World Philosophy Day, the Madrid central branch hosted the presentation of the book “Ensayos teológicos y filosóficos” (Theological and Philosophical Essays), with an interview with its author, José Carlos Fernández. The book consists of a compilation of articles and essays on apparently unrelated topics, such as Mafalda, the Big Bang, Mencius, literature, dance, Goodness, Plotinus, Greek myths, etc. However, all of them reach an extraordinary depth and contain a revealing amount of analogies and comparisons that can hardly leave us indifferent. In the background of all these texts, there is a powerful philosophical thread that relates and unites all of them with each other.
