Members and friends from our branches in Attica visited the archaeological site of Epidaurus. There was a guided tour of the Asclepius sanctuary, which is the main archaeological site, and because of it, the famous 4th-century BC theater was also built, the harmony and beauty of which we also enjoyed. We learned about the methods of pre-Hippocratic medicine, the sacred restaurant, the baths, the stadium, and finally, the incubation. A holistic medicine, akin to the philosophical perception of Man, God, and the Universe held by the initiates of the Asclepius sanctuary.
