An evening of Sufi stories and melodies in Haifa (Israel)
A unique evening, the result of collaboration with “Beit HaGefen.” A cultural-spiritual journey designed to expose participants to the wisdom of the Sufis, bridging ancient worlds with modern life. The intimate and inclusive atmosphere invited guests to dive into a magical world of ancient stories and live music. The stories, told by Gilat Ben Natan and Anat Talmore, were full of depth, wisdom, and humor, touching on human truths that remain relevant across all eras. The music, played on traditional instruments like the flute, oud, and Pantam, accompanied by traditional frame drums, created a multi-sensory experience that enveloped participants as the enchanting sounds accompanied the stories.
The event was dedicated to the memory of Nizar Hammaam, a friend and teacher at the School of New Acropolis, whose character and values inspired the entire evening—values of love, unity, and equality, which were also the core themes of the evening.
