New Acropolis held a touching exhibition ‘Ancient Egypt’ at the boarding school for the blind and visually impaired (Yekaterinburg, Russia)

Social Volunteering

New Acropolis held a touching exhibition ‘Ancient Egypt’ at the boarding school for the blind and visually impaired. All exhibits were made by volunteers in the New Acropolis workshop and could be “viewed” with their hands.

Preparing for the exhibition was an opportunity to learn more about the culture of Ancient Egypt and its symbols, and to share our discoveries with children.

We are convinced that we need to know the past in order to build the future. Children asked questions, searched for parallels with today, learned how life and death were treated in Ancient Egypt, familiarized themselves with philosophical keys that can be applied today, discovering more and more the beauty and wisdom of the past.
