Art Day: Lecture and Concert at the Mediterranean Garden (Podgorica, Montenegro)

Day of Arts

On Art Day, the New Acropolis Representation in Podgorica, and the NGO Association of Lovers of Gorica and Nature, in cooperation with the Agency for Management of Protected Areas of Podgorica, part of the Podgorica City local government, organized a cultural event entitled “Mozart in Gorica” in the Mediterranean Garden. The event brought together around 150 visitors interested in music, art, and their impact on human beings.

The program began with the lecture “The Impact of Music on Humans,” which explored the influence of music on human development, emotions, concentration, and inner harmony. The lecture highlighted the classical understanding of art as a means of cultivating character and developing human potential, while also presenting contemporary research that confirms the importance of music for human psychological and physical well-being.

Following the lecture, the duo Amuletic Strings performed selected works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart for violin and cello. In the pleasant ambiance of the Mediterranean Garden, visitors had the opportunity to be inspired by interpretations that evoked the beauty, serenity, and harmony of one of the greatest composers in the history of music.
