Friendly volleyball match (Barcelona, Spain)
In the second sporting fixture between the volleyball teams from Barcelona’s Escuela del Deporte con Corazón and TUE (Trinitat Unió Esportiva), more than thirty-two players reaffirmed the spirit of unity and friendship that characterised the first fixture held in May.

At ten o’clock in the morning, with all the players gathered in a large circle to kick off the day’s sporting activities, a philosophical reflection was shared, inspired by the teachings of the philosopher Delia Steinberg, on the positive transformations that every human being seeks.
This was followed by warm-up exercises, both with and without a ball, mixing players from both schools to foster camaraderie.
Next, five mixed teams were formed, each with at least two female players on the court. The first team from the Escuela del Deporte con Corazón played with fixed positions and carried out all the necessary rotations. They were also the team that won every match they played, demonstrating skill and confidence in the sport.
Matches were played as single sets to twenty-five points with no time limit, on two courts set up for the event.
Regardless of the results, the matches were very evenly matched and exciting. Both players and spectators enjoyed a sunny morning of good volleyball in excellent company.
The teams’ reactions and the overall atmosphere highlighted the success of the event, leaving the door open for future matches.
