Long Night of Science (Nuremberg, Germany)
The Nuremberg metropolitan area is known for major companies such as Siemens and a number of universities and other scientific institutions. During this ‘Long Night of Science’, the public was able to attend over 1,000 events and presentations, including four talks from our school of philosophy.
In total, over 100 people attended, many of them very young, to learn about Pythagoras, the enigma of consciousness, and light as a source of inspiration for seekers of all kinds.
This series of talks concluded with a call for the importance of philosophy and ethics in science.
In this way, New Acropolis Nuremberg was able to live up to its own motto for the evening: to create light.
