Once again this year, La Concordia Food Bank took part in the Great Food Drive, a campaign organised in collaboration with the Valencia Food Bank to support hundreds of families facing financial hardship.

Throughout the weekend, volunteers from the Despensa Solidaria were present at various supermarkets in the area, encouraging members of the public to get involved and helping to sort the donated items. Their work, always carried out with a friendly approach and a spirit of service, enabled them to collect a significant amount of non-perishable food to bolster the aid distributed weekly by the project.

The day was characterised by an atmosphere of solidarity and teamwork, in which the volunteers not only collected food but also received words of support, gestures of empathy and gratitude from those who recognise the importance of this campaign for so many families.
