An enthusiastic group within the philosophical circle of friends of New Acropolis from Carinthia and Styria gained insights into the world of Tibetan Buddhism through mandalas, mudras, and more…

They got to know the explorer Heinrich Harrer better during a guided tour full of anecdotes and listened to the Dalai Lama mantra in the original Tibetan meditation room. Colourful thangkas depicted bodhisattvas – enlightened beings who, out of deep compassion, postpone their own salvation in order to help all other sentient beings on their path out of suffering. On the Lingkhor, the only Tibetan pilgrimage route outside Tibet, they experienced the symbolic ascent of consciousness and a renewed sense of strength as they returned to the everyday world to spread goodness.
