New Acropolis marked Art Day by hosting two workshops – both dedicated to the art of music (Zagreb, Croatia)
In the first workshop, What Is Your Frequency? Academic artist Ivana Ožetski demonstrated how different vibrations affect our surroundings using the ancient Solfeggio frequencies, originally employed in Gregorian chant.
Each frequency is associated with a specific colour, and its corresponding frequency was used as the basis for creating a drawing. Using a frequency generator, six artworks were “drawn” with coloured sand on a black surface. Visitors also had the opportunity to create their own drawings – graphic patterns generated by the selected Solfeggio frequencies.
The Art of Listening to Music, a lecture and workshop, explored how music has brought people together throughout history and continues to inspire and shape their aspirations in different ways.
During the workshop, we focused on selected examples of classical and film music that elevate consciousness and reveal hidden archetypal messages, conveying through their musical forms the essence of humanity’s accumulated experience.
