Challenge, determination and unity at the ‘Chami S3 Race’ (Medellín, Colombia)
The Kagubba research group from New Acropolis North-West Colombia took part in the Chami S3 sports competition, a gruelling race combining trekking, cycling and river trekking.
During the roughly 30-kilometre route, the team sought out 16 checkpoints in the heart of the countryside, guided solely by a map and their ability to work together.
Beyond the physical challenge, the experience became an exercise in willpower, perseverance and unity, where each member contributed their strengths and learnt to balance those of the group. The result: a third-place finish filled with pride and shared learning.
This experience reaffirmed that sport, more than just a competition, can be a path to self-discovery, pushing boundaries and strengthening team spirit.
