Project ‘CosìMiPiace’: Artistic redevelopment at San Cristoforo Station (Milan, Italy)

Cultural Volunteering

The arrival of the summer season provided a new opportunity for the maintenance of the underpasses of the “CosìMiPiace” project. Volunteers from Nuova Acropoli Milan, joined by a group of students from PASS (Solidarity Project for Study Support), dedicated themselves to restoring and touching up the street art murals in the San Cristoforo railway station underpass.

Taking care of these works and ensuring their artistic redevelopment is an important responsibility, which always sees many volunteers step up to keep the station underpasses clean, colourful, and well-maintained.

Such activities establish the association as a key player in active urban ecology, providing a valuable contribution to the city of Milan.

This constant and quiet commitment makes these events essential, offering students and volunteers the opportunity to give back to the city what they have received, with the aim of preserving safety and beauty over time.

This is the expression of a shared path of care that has continued with dedication for fifteen years since the beginning of the “CosìMiPiace” project.
