Nearly three thousand years ago, Homer bestowed upon humanity one of its most timeless masterpieces: The Odyssey. Inspired by this epic poem, members of New Acropolis Córdoba hosted a Reading Workshop dedicated to exploring this immortal work, its symbolism, and its profound relevance to everyday life.

The gathering offered a space to contemplate a fundamental question that spans across centuries: what does it truly mean to return home?

Far more than a tale of nautical adventures, Odysseus’ journey served as a mirror for the human experience. Throughout the workshop, participants examined how the hero’s challenges, temptations, monsters, and decisions represent the internal hurdles we encounter on our own path.

To enrich the discussion, the activity featured a “travel map”—a set of guiding questions sent to attendees beforehand to focus the reading and spark meaningful dialogue.
