New Acropolis recently organized an event dedicated to the Japanese Art Kiri-e. Kiri-e literary means “cut picture”. This is an art in which images are created by cutting black cardboard until it forms a beautiful shadow picture. The participants were invited to each choose a different model to cut and practice their technique together with the values of patience, diligence and consistency.
