This year, on the occasion of World Philosophy Day, we organized a weekend with four lectures on topics related to this year’s theme, “The Language of Symbols”. The themes presented were: Symbolism of the hero, The meaning of myths, Neoplatonic ideas present in the symbolism of Renaissance art as well as the Myth of the Cave from the Platonic work “The Republic”. The audience present in our premises appreciated the ideas presented, which launched discussion topics, questions and an active participation of those who were present.
