Tributes to Tibet and Egypt

Lectures, seminars and information campaigns were held recently in Crete as a tribute to these two ancient cultures. Both countries remain enigmas and continue to exert a powerful attraction.

Jonathan Livingston Seagull on stage

The Dionysus theater group from New Acropolis Barcelona presented a free performance of Jonathan Livingston Seagull, by Richard Bach. The audience enjoyed the highlights of the work on this unique gull, so different from all others.

The performance was met with tremendous applause from the audience, who were warmly appreciative of the Dionysus group, a group of players and volunteers who were able, once again, to promote the reading of 20th century classics.

NA members from the Rijeka branch performed the puppet show “Thumbelina”, which opened the “Malik Fest 2012″, a festival on the myths and legends of Istria and Kvarner. The show was attended by 350 visitors.

Leonardo da Vinci's birthdayLast year, the “creative labs” that were launched in Russia, became a favorite activity of the audience.

This year, to commemorate the anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci several of these workshops were held, which provide the opportunity to learn things not only theoretical but to experience them for yourself.

Auric proportions in man and nature, the construction of a bridge with pencils only, without using nails, as well as seeing prototype of their machines in action, -models created from sketches- were undisputed protagonists this time.

There were special prizes for guessing who the purpose of various Leonardo’s inventions.

Leonardo da Vinci's birthday

Last year, the “creative labs” that were launched in Russia became one of the audience’s favorite activities.

This year, to commemorate the anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s birth, several of these workshops were held, which provided people with an opportunity to gain not just theoretical knowledge, but to share in the experience themselves.

Auric proportions in man and nature; the construction of a bridge built only with pencils, without using nails; and seeing prototypes of his machines in action, models created from sketches; all were undisputed winners this time.

There were special prizes for guessing the purpose of various Leonardo inventions.

Ricardo Blasco’s book, Discovering what is karma in 60 minutes, sparked the interest of a speaker, Ari Paluch, host of “The Juicer” on Imagine (FM 104.3), Radio Continental, who invited the author to participate in an interview last March 29.

Ricardo answered a series of questions about karma, what it is, how to understand, and find answers to, the events in our lives and how to extract the experiences that allow us to grow and evolve.

The author mentioned that by allowing him to explore this theme, he had had the chance to meet NA, where he continues to develop and deepen his knowledge
