From Eastern Christianity to Taoism, the Search for the OneIn a lecture entitled “Practices of Body Wisdom”, Peretti, the founder of the Traditional Secular School Bai Qi Gong Yuan, presented a reconstruction of the historical context and mentalities of the Greek, Chinese, and Semitic peoples in their search for Unity. The human being is in internal conflict due to the fragmentation of his existence (divided between the body and the mind), while his purpose is to achieve unity. Both Christians and Taoists have the same process of moving towards the unification of Self in the only possible place – the body, and unity with cosmos.  Qi Gong is one of the methods to experience this unity. For the Chinese there is nothing outside the Tao.
