Volunteers from New Acropolis celebrated Christmas in an orphanage near Sofia. The objective … to recreate a Christmas environment, warm and joyful for the children.The placing of Christmas decorations sparked the first smiles, and once the decorations were fully laid out, carols and dances began. At the end of the visit the children were given small gifts, some of which were books, and the commitment to return the following year.
