New Acropolis Bulgaria celebrated Japan Day: a day of Japanese culture. The varied program began with a lecture, which allowed participants to encounter the philosophy of Zen Buddhism deeply rooted in traditional arts like calligraphy, kiri-e, origami, ikebana and tea ceremony. The characteristics of the haiku literary genre were also discussed and attendees had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Japanese poetry, becoming true creators of beautiful poems. There was a challenging exercise for the mind, as participants immersed themselves in one of the oldest games in the world – the Go .

The event ended with a short demonstration on how to make sushi, which the visitors gladly tried in the pleasant company of the organizers, sharing their thoughts and impressions of their Japanese afternoon.
