National Course on Volunteering in Peru

Volunteering

New Acropolis Peru organized a national course on Volunteering from November the 2nd to the 3rd, with the participation of 138 young people, all students of philosophy from the 33 branches of New Acropolis in this country. In the midst of a natural environment, those attending participated in different philosophical and psychological exercises to get to know themselves; they attended different classes on how to develop their skills and manage actions that will contribute to the betterment of society.

In Peru, New Acropolis promotes volunteering in different areas as diverse as: cultural education, health, environmental protection and humanitarian assistance to programs geared towards further improving the quality of life in Nursing Homes, shelters, and in support of towns affected by cold temperatures and by natural disasters.
