Exhibition on symbols in Veliky Novgorod (North Russia)
In the framework of World Philosophy Day, New Acropolis in Veliky Novgorod presented the exhibition ‘Labyrinth. Dragon. Unicorn … What do the symbols tells us?’. The exhibition presented universal symbols and their meaning and highlighted their relevance to the modern world. For every symbol in the exhibition, information was provided about its different facets in ancient cultures, and participants were also invited to reflect on themselves and their life’s journey. Visitors took part in organized tours which guided them through the exhibition. At the end of the journey visitors were in for a pleasant surprise – the opportunity to choose and take with them an image of one of the symbols which inspired them.
