On a Sunday morning, the children and teachers of the village of Dor Marunt greeted us, as usual, with open arms, a delicious meal and a welcome song that they sang wholeheartedly. We provided educational information on hygiene standards, and offered some useful elements to use. We elaborate with them beautiful “mărţişoare”-Romanian symbols that celebrate the arrival of Spring-, with colored paper, felt and pasta.
To everyone’s delight, New Acropolis volunteers gave them candy and fruit, as well as school supplies, books, clothing and food for themselves and their families.
